Content Strategist

About This Role

We are looking for a Content Strategist to shape the voice and narrative of Kalinko Labs across all channels. You will develop bilingual content strategies (English and French) that resonate with audiences across West Africa, from technical blog posts to brand storytelling.

This is a role for someone who understands that great content is not just words — it is strategy, empathy, and craft working together.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a bilingual content strategy aligned with business goals
• Write and edit long-form content including blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership
• Manage the editorial calendar and coordinate with design and engineering for content delivery
• Conduct audience research to inform tone, topics, and distribution
• Optimize content for SEO and engagement across organic channels
• Measure content performance and iterate based on data

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and French
• Experience creating content for B2B or technology audiences
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content analytics tools
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Portfolio of published work demonstrating strategic thinking

Nice to Have

• Experience working with African or emerging market audiences
• Background in technology or SaaS content
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and static site generators
• Experience with social media strategy and community building
