About This Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to own the end-to-end design process for our digital products. You will partner with engineering and product to define user flows, create design systems, and deliver high-fidelity prototypes that translate business goals into intuitive interfaces.
You will have a direct impact on how businesses across West Africa interact with technology — designing tools that are practical, beautiful, and built for real constraints.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design from discovery through delivery, including user research, wireframing, and prototyping
- Create and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across products
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on real user feedback
- Present design decisions to stakeholders with clear rationale
- Contribute to the broader design culture and mentoring of junior designers
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product or UX design for digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Experience with design systems and component-based design
- Understanding of accessibility best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or French
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for multilingual audiences
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, Tailwind)
- Background in designing for markets with varying connectivity and device constraints
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions
